Once outside San José there are no true street addresses and terrible maps, so finding Volare, even when taxi drivers have Google Maps, is sometimes more adventure than you want. Local waterfall

To the waterfall with Franklin Our local waterfall is only about5 miles from Volare, hidden in a forest in the middle of a huge coffee plantation. I love to take my dogs there to swim with me -- and lay in the clear pools and slide down some smooth rocks. The dogs go crazy here... one of the bets places to see birds, too. Franklin knows the route though the twisty pats of coffee plants.
